This album was a concept album - all the songs were slowed down and I would sing in the lower range of my voice. This album was one of the first albums Chad Weis would produce for the band. During the time between buried and this album, Jeremy had left the band to pursue his own project, Secret Panels, however, he still made the appearance playing mandolin on a few songs on this album. At this point Murzik had also added a cellist - Ryan Pfeiffer, and a violinist, Katherine Dikareva. This album was created over various recording sessions over a few month time period.
